SINGERS' INFORMATION
CAPRIOL comprises around 25 singers who are all auditioned. Solos are generally performed by members of the choir, and several of our members are professionally trained. The unique blend of good amateur singers and trained voices provides the warmth and purity of tone for which we have become renowned: " - that almost indefinable blend of English lyricism, and mediaeval purity." The choir rehearses around six weeks before each concert, normally on a Wednesday. A good standard of reading and quick learning is required to achieve very high standards on a series of intensive rehearsals.
The rehearsal venue is normally in the Village Hall, Crockham Hill, 7.45 - 10.00 p.m.
